Narrative
OMAHA, NE – One person died, and two people sustained injuries last Monday when snowy roads caused a crash along the highway in Omaha.
The accident happened shortly before 9:30 a.m. along West Dodge Road, or US-6. Officials haven’t yet specified a cross street for the wreck.
Police say that the driver of a 1996 Chevy K-1500 lost control of the pickup, left the highway, and crashed into a guardrail.
A 60-year-old female passenger sustained fatal injuries when she was thrown partially from vehicle. Authorities haven’t disclosed her name to the public.
Medics transported the driver and a 10-year-old boy to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries.
